The same tool, in the browser or on the PC.
Your plan, your catalogue and your cloud projects are the same in both. The difference is where it runs and what happens without a connection.

| Where it runs | In a desktop browser, served by the portal | Installed on Windows, x64 or ARM64 |

first run
Windows may warn you the first time.
The installers are not code-signed, so Windows SmartScreen cannot name the publisher and may stop the first run. That is expected. Here is what to do.
Only for the portal’s own installer
Run anyway is for an installer you downloaded from the portal yourself. If a file came from anywhere else, delete it.
Download from the portal
Sign in and download the build for your PC. The portal lists the app as Lyra.
If Windows protected your PC
SmartScreen may show “Windows protected your PC” and an unknown publisher. Select More info.
Run it
Check it is the installer you just downloaded from the portal, then select Run anyway.
Sign in once
Use your portal account. From then on the app keeps itself up to date.
mac
On a Mac, use the browser.
There is no app for macOS. Lyra runs in the browser on a Mac, with the same account and projects.
Running Windows in Parallels on an Apple-silicon Mac? The ARM64 build is the one for that.
requirements
What you need, in short.

|---|---|
| Web app | A desktop browser. The tool is tested in Chromium and in WebKit, the engine behind Safari. |
| Screen | Design on a desktop or laptop. Client 3D tours open on a phone. |
| Connection | Needed for the web app and to sign in. The Windows app works offline for up to 7 days. |

questions, 05
Before you install it.
Is the Windows app a different product?
No. It is the same tool, with the same plan, the same catalogue and the same cloud projects as the web app.
What happens after 7 days offline?
The app asks you to sign in again, which needs a connection. Projects you saved meanwhile are still on the PC and sync to your account once you are back online.
Do we reinstall it for updates?
No. Install it once and it keeps itself up to date. What changed in each release of the tool is on the changelog.
Read the changelogWhy does Windows warn us about the publisher?
The installers are not code-signed, so SmartScreen cannot name the publisher. Select More info, then Run anyway, for an installer you downloaded from the portal yourself.
Is there an app for the Mac?
No. On a Mac, use the web app in the browser. If you run Windows in Parallels on an Apple-silicon Mac, the ARM64 build is the one for that.
No account yet? Start with a 15-day trial.
The Windows app comes with every trial and subscription, and with the dealer portal.
15-day trial for approved companies. No card, nothing to cancel.
